The app apparently mixes training exercises with actual video footage of Patriot missile crews doing their job. We believe the first app covers Launch Station march order and emplacement and is meant to be used in a classroom with an instructor. The 7 apps planned cover the following areas:Launch Station march order and emplacementRadar march order and emplacementEngagement Control Station march order and emplacementAntenna Mast Group march order and emplacementElectrical Power Plant march order and emplacementMissile reloadRadar maintenanceDolly Oberoi, C2’s founder and Chief Executive Officer commented:Mobile apps on handheld devices allow the soldier to train any time, any place, and can provide access to critical information in the field. They leverage the ability to train outside the traditional classroom, improve training effectiveness, and can greatly reduce resources required. Although we can see the benefit of training away from the actual missile launching system, we do hope trainees get some extended time with the actual equipment as well before having to use it for real.Read more at c2ti.com, via Gizmaglast_img
