WET AND WINDY WEATHER PREDICTED FOR JUNE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND

first_imgMET EIREANN have issued a depressing forecast for the June Bank Holiday Weekend with wind, rain and even FROST being predicting to hit the county over the weekend. Traditionally, the weather over the June Bank Holiday weekend is always superb but forecasters have predicted a washout. So those of you that had plans of spending the weekend in a beer garden lapping up the rays or hosting barbecues will have to reconsider your plans. Met Eireann said, “There will be widespread heavy showers on Friday with temperatures well below normal for the end of May.“It may become cold enough for slight grass frost to happen.“Saturday is expected to be dry and bright early on but a band of rain will spread eastwards to all areas during the evening.“Sunday and Monday have the likelihood of a spell of heavy rain in most areas. Met Eireann don’t always get it right, so here’s hoping they’ve got badly and the sun will be shining all weekend.Even if it isn’t, we can all take solace from the fact the Leaving Certificate exams start next week and the weather is always fabulous during the examination period. 🙂WET AND WINDY WEATHER PREDICTED FOR JUNE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND was last modified: May 26th, 2015 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:June Bank Holiday weekendMet EireannnewsWashoutweatherlast_img
