The first chair of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has been confirmed asLawrence Churchill, formerly chief executive of Zurich Financial Services, LifeBusinesses. Churchill also previously worked for NatWest. He will take up hisposition with the PPF in July, subject to Parliamentary approval. Catering Partnership has appointed Sue Slee as HR officer. She joined thecontract catering company in May and is now responsible for the needs of 450staff. Previously, Slee spent six years working in HR and administration withwarehousing and distribution company, Hayes Distribution. Northgate, a supplier of software applications to the HR market hasannounced the appointment of four new directors to the board. Nick Starritt andDavid Hodgson have joined as non-executive directors, while two of North-gate’sexisting divisional heads, David Meaden and Malcolm Aldis, have been promoted.
